Find out preaching topic and verses (Seek God at every juncture) Find one song that anchors topic Find key to that song Find songs in similar key family to complement (max 1 unfamiliar song, never as last song) Find invitational, declarative, response, encounter songs where needed Decide dynamic journey of set (start high / low?) Decide transitions (fills, intro, interlude, free worship, etc.) Decide how to start, end set Any scripture verses that come to mind? Any prophetic message for the church?   (This is one model, which I found quickest to get started with)
